 Valhalla Trick or Treat (Endora) takes Winners Bitch from the Bred by Exhibitor class for a 3 point major at the Sturgis Kennel Club Show held at Marshall, Michigan.  Now having both of her majors we hope she will finish soon.  Keep your fingers crossed!!!  But not to be outdone by her aunt Endora, our little Valhalla Angel of Ecstasy (Monkeybutt) went on to win her first 2 points from the 9-12 Puppy class.  Monkey wasn't sure about the whole show thing, but managed to catch the judge's eye for the win.

After taking some time off to try and recover from back surgery that I had on November 10th, we are back in the ring.  Watch for our puppies from last year, plus several of our other favorites to be in the ring and doing us proud.

Ch. Marjax Spitfire at Valhalla (Reese) comes out of retirement for the Chihuahua Club of Michigan Specialty show and wins the best Veteran Award under judge, Sallie Buckman.  Reese had a "ball" being in the ring again and will be heading to the Chihuahua Club of America National in October to have herself another wonderful time in the ring.  Thank you Sallie for putting up with Reese and her antics in the ring.

Hallmark's Home Made (Homer) finishes his championship taking the Winners Dog award at the Brushy Run Kennel Club show in Pennsylvania, and becomes yet another champion for Hallmark Kennel.  Hallmark's Power Play (Player) was Reserve Winners Dog to Homer to round out the day.  Our congrats to Ray and Bill and of course Homer for his win and his new championship!

Chikita Bases Loaded S (Captain) takes Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Variety at the Butler County Kennel Club Show for a 5 point major!!!!!  The following day Captain takes another Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex for another 5 point major to complete his championship!!!  As always Captain was piloted to these wins by his Grandpa Darwin Delaney!!  Many thanks to Grandpa Darwin for finishing another of his Dartan Grand Slam kids for us.

On the heels of the twister that rocked Oklahoma City last weekend a new storm front now heads east to the New Castle, Pennsylvania shows!  Valhalla Takin' Care of Business (Ditto aka the queen) and Chikita Bases Loaded S (Captain) will make up the duo that along with their Grandpa Darwin are now well on their way for a relaxing extended holiday weekend at their Uncle Ray and Bill's beautiful Hallmark Farm in Punxsutawney!  While taking a much needed rest and enjoying the breathtaking view of the Allegany mountains and the great hospitality Ditto, Captain and Grandpa Darwin will be taking in a few of the shows at New Castle, Pennsylvania.  Unfortunately both Evie and I are sitting at home and just can't tell you how jealous we are!!!!  Good luck at the shows!!!!

A "wicked" twister desended upon the Chihuahua Club of Oklahoma Show as Valhalla Wickedly Grand (Cheeka) takes the Best of Opposite Sex award in Sweepstakes and then on to take Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for her third 5 point major from the 9-12 month puppy class!!!!  This win earns Cheeka her A.K.C. title as a champion, and she is our first "home bred" chihuahua champion at Valhalla!!  Not to be out done by his half sister Chikita Bases Loaded S (Captain) reeked alittle havoc of his own, capturing the Best in Sweepstakes award and then onto Winners Dog and Best of Winners awards from the 6-9 month puppy class for a 5 point major!!  Both "tornados" captured the eye of judge Kathy Bucher Sawyer for these wins!!!!  As always both Cheeka and Captain were lovingly guided to their wins by their Grandpa, Darwin Delaney.  It is with our love and many thanks to Grandpa Darwin for his expert guidance and loving care that took Cheeka and Captain to their many wins!!!  But wait there's more....Best In Specialty Show was awarded to Ch. Dartan Flash Dancer, bred by Darwin Delaney!!! It was nothing short of the "perfect storm" and a category F-5 tornado for both Darwin and the Dartan chihuahuas in Oklahoma City this day!!!!

After the recent series of tornados that ripped across the plains states, there are yet another couple of "twisters" that are about to strike!  Valhalla Wickedly Grand (Cheeka) and her half brother Chikita Bases Loaded S (Captain) will blow into Oklahoma City with their Grandpa Darwin for the Chihuahua Club of Oklahoma and Central Oklahoma Toy Dog Club shows on May 16, 17 and 18th!  After their stellar performance in Dallas, with their Grandpa Darwin both Cheeka and Captain hope to "blow" their competition away at these shows!

Chikita Bases Loaded S (Captain) with Grandpa Darwin at the helm for his first point from the 6-9 month puppy class at the Midland Michigan Kennel Club show!  After his Best in Sweepstakes and Reserve Winners Dog wins in Dallas, Captain is now on his way towards his championship with this win!

Valhalla Takin' Care of Business (Ditto) takes Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for a single point at the Midland Michigan Kennel Club Show with her mom on the lead! Only needing a major to finish her championship, Ditto was out for alittle practice before heading for the Pennsylvania shows with Grandpa Darwin at the end of May.  Valhalla Wickedly Grand (Cheeka) and Grandpa Darwin had to play "second fiddle" to her aunt, Ditto but she did beat her aunt Endora (Valhalla Trick or Treat) for the Reserve Winners Bitch award.

Vahalla Wickedly Grand (Cheeka) takes long coat Winners Bitch from the 9-12 month class for a 5 point major at the Dallas Chihuahua Club show under judge Vicki Abbott!  With her Grandpa Darwin on the lead, Cheeka captured her second major and she wasn't about to stop there, she went on to the Best Puppy in Show award!  Here at home we are all just "spinning" as Cheeka now has 12 points and both of her majors in a mere eight shows!  A great big thanks to Grandpa Darwin, as if not for his guidance, care and his great big heart none of this would be possible.

Chikita Bases Loaded S (Captain) takes Reserve Winners Dog to the 5 point major at the Dallas Chihuahua Club Show.  This was after he wrangled a Best in Sweepstakes win with his Grandpa Darwin on the lead.  Captain showed that he has a winning attitude and with these wins he is off to a great start on his show career.  Of course at home his "mama" Evie is beside herself and we all are proud as can be of Captain and Grandpa Darwin!

After hitting the New England show scene in a whirlwind Valhalla Wickedly Grand (Cheeka) and Chikita Bases Loaded S (Captain) are now headed out west to the great state of Texas for the Dallas Chihuahua Club shows!!!!  Watch for them both with their Grandpa Darwin, as they "rodeo up" to hopefully "rope and wrangle" some big wins in the ring Texas style!

Valhalla Wickedly Grand (Cheeka) wins long coat Winners Bitch from the 9-12 month puppy class for a 5 point major at the Heart of New England Chihuahua Club show!  Being the demanding little diva that only Cheeka can be, Grandpa Darwin handed the lead over to his daughter, Tamara, who showed Cheeka to perfection for the win!  Not content with just being winners bitch, Cheeka and Tamara glided around the ring for the Best Puppy in Show award, all under judge, Jane Kay!  We here at home are still in a state of shock, but proud as can be of Cheeka and Tamara and their wins!!!!!  Thank you Tamara, for handling Cheeka with loving care!

Valhalla Wickedly Grand (Cheeka) takes Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex from the 9-12 month puppy class at the Saginaw Valley Kennel Club show.  Only her third time in the ring, Cheeka gets her first 2 points with Grandpa Darwin at the end of the lead.  Strutting her stuff like a seasoned professional, Cheeka gave judge, Ann Hearn, a performance that was just wicked for the win.  Of course we could not be more pleased with Cheeka and she is off to a running start torwards her championship.

Hallmark's Power Play (Player) steps up to the net, he shoots and he and scores with a 3 point major win at the Western Pennsylvania Kennel Club show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Having sat on the bench for a while as he waited to grow up, Player showed that he has the "right stuff" his first time back out on the circuit with this "hat trick" major win.  Congrats, to Ray and Bill of Hallmark Farm/Kennel for Player's great win!

As if the east coast wasn't hit by enough storms during the winter, a spring storm is about to arrive!  Valhalla Wickedly Grand (Cheeka) and Chikita Bases Loaded S (Captain) will be storming their way onto the eastern show scene under the expert guidance of their Grandpa, Darwin Delaney.  This dynamic half sister and brother duo were both sired by the legendary Ch. Dartan Grand Slam (Sam), and with their good looks, type and attitudes they are sure to be turning some heads!  Watch for them both at the Chihuahua Club of America, Inc. and the Heart of New England Chihuahua Club shows in April.

Hallmark Home Made (Homer) wins two of the four days at the Louisville, Kentucky cluster, with Darwin Delaney at the lead.  Picking up his second major Homer now needs only a couple single points to finish his championship.  Congrats to Ray and Bill of Hallmark Farm/Kennel for this truly "home made" boy's wins!!!!

Valhalla Wickedly Grand (Cheeka) went Reserve Winners Bitch from the 6-9 month puppy class, to the 3 point major at the Detroit Kennel Club show, on Saturday at Cobo Hall.  As it was only her second time in the show ring, she showed like a trooper and we could not be prouder of her accomplishment.

Valhalla Trick or Treat (Endora) takes Winners Bitch from the Bred By Exhibitor class for a 3 point major at the Oakland County Kennel Club show held at the Michigan State Fairgrounds in Detroit.  Known as the "spoiled rotten crybaby brat", Endora showed what she was made of to garner the win, under judge Madeline Miller.  She certainly did her "mama" proud!
